Close my Eyes and Hope for the Worst

This summer has been the worst for waves.  Despite having a schedule that allows me to get out most mornings before work, I find my days in the water at an all time low.  Two factors:  The lack of swell/weird weather patterns have generated even less swell than usual for lowly Jersey summers. The other is that thanks to the Army Corp of Engineers, my usual summer spots have been rendered worthless unless there is at least 3 ft swell coming in.  Hopefully fall will turn things back on and empty out Ocean City a bit to help me maintain sanity.
